The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah

Khaled deserves a special thank you for being attentive and professional, and for making dinner even better. The food at Adrift Mare restaurant at The Ritz Hotel was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of both the restaurant and the hotel. The whole experience was outstanding.

We went to the first-floor adrift mare for my birthday at 7. The atmosphere was amazing, with a DJ, and the employees were friendly, well trained, and very professional. The food was amazing too. We paid 500 Sr for a burger, salad, steak, and tiramissu. The staff singing happy birthday was a lovely gesture. I recommend this restaurant.

We weren't guests, just stopped by to see the hotel's interior design and décor as possible visitors. The way we were treated left us feeling unwelcome, as though we shouldn't have been there, and it ended with what seemed like a polite dismissal. That first impression was disappointing. Hospitality should be extended to everyone, since these encounters shape how people see the hotel.

The follow-up from Abdullah after my stay was a thoughtful personal touch, and I appreciated that the team checked that everything had gone well. Everyone I met was warm and attentive. My room was beautiful and very comfortable, especially the bedding. Breakfast had delicious, well-prepared food and lots of choices. I asked about Turkish coffee, but it wasn't available then. It would be a lovely addition in the future. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and the staff member who helped me was professional and welcoming, though I can't remember their name. I had an excellent stay and look forward to coming back. Thank you for such good service.
