The breakfast was good, and the staff served tea when we arrived. The gentleman at reception was especially attentive, lifting the stay to five stars for me. The hotel itself feels more like a three- or four-star place. Room 308 was reasonably clean, had no bad smell, and looked out toward the mountains. The location also worked well as a stop between Jazan and Najran, though the hotel is dated.

We only came to try the place out, but loved it and wish we could've stayed longer. The rooms are elegant, the views are beautiful, and the food and coffee were excellent. Staff were great too. It's in a nice spot between the two busy areas of Fayfa, and we'll definitely return.

The room was in poor condition, and breakfast was very disappointing. They wouldn't make sunny-side-up eggs or an omelette, only preheated Shakshouka. We asked for the room to be cleaned the following day, but it wasn't. Service was well below par, although the receptionist was friendly. The location is the only good thing here. People seem to stay because they have no other choice.

The roads up to this area are steep and difficult, so make sure your vehicle is in good shape. Given the location and price, though, the stay isn't bad at all.
