Al Andalus Palace 3 Hotel

The location is the one good thing, but this hotel would be my absolute last choice. We spent around four hours waiting to check in because no rooms were ready. My parents nearly missed all their salah in the Haram that first day. The elevators were packed and slow, too. While my mother was alone in the room, someone tried flirting with her and offered her service. Audhubillah. I don’t know whether management or the cleaners are overworked or understaffed, but if I could give zero stars, I would.

The location near the Prophet’s Mosque was the only thing going for this hotel. My family of five could barely fit in a room advertised for 4+ people, and the beds were tiny and uncomfortable. The bathroom smelled horrific, the sink leaked, and the room was filthy when we arrived. We kept asking for cleaning, but staff came late, did very little, and left the bathroom just as dirty. I’ve had some bad hotel stays, and this was one of the worst. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

Getting to the Prophet’s Mosque is easy, just a short walk away. The hotel itself doesn’t feel well maintained, though. The bathrooms weren’t very clean, and some taps didn’t work. There’s also an odd problem with the main switch: turning it off cuts power to the lights and charging ports, so I had to leave the lights on all night to charge my phone. During busy hours the elevators are a mess, with long waits. Rooms are average, but the location is great for the Haram.

We didn’t get a refund, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The sink was blocked, the bathroom smelled awful, and management was so bad.
