The area around the building felt quite rough, and inside we found broken cupboards and leaking Muslim showers. The manager didn’t answer our messages at first. Our taxi driver got his actual number from the grocery shop opposite, and then he came out and let us in. We were told the place had been closed by the Ministry of Tourism, but nobody had informed us, so check the Ministry of Tourism record and wait for a reply before booking. If they don’t respond, don’t book. Once inside, the facilities were there and the staff were very helpful. The rest was good.

There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so we didn’t need to go far to eat. The owner also let us settle in first and only asked for payment in the evening, which felt very unusual. When I walked into the room, I was honestly shocked in the best way. It felt like a classic luxury palace, and the price was affordable. Long life to the property owner for offering this kind of stay.

The location made it easy to get around, and the room had all the amenities I needed. It was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. The staff welcomed me warmly, and check-in was quick and smooth. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sojourn and would recommend it for business or leisure.

I couldn’t stay because of the bad service, but I was still charged. They said the refund would come through Agoda, but it never did, and then they stopped answering my calls and messages. Eqam vip, refund my money. Updating this because it’s been a month and I still haven’t got my money back. The hotel and Agoda are both playing me. They’ve refused to refund me, so please don’t book with this hotel.
