It’s a peaceful, quiet place with clean rooms and respectful, nice staff. The free shuttle, with two trips for each prayer, is really useful. Breakfast is the downside: it costs 5€ and the only coffee option is instant packets. Apart from that, I recommend the hotel.

Our five adults shared a two-room suite, and the bus shuttle was comfortable and punctual. The location is brilliant, within walking distance of the Haram in about 25 minutes. If you miss the bus, a taxi costs 5-10 Royals. By the grace of Allaah (subhaanahu wa-ta'aala), we spent 22 days in Almadeenah Almunawarrah at this hotel. It was a very pleasant stay, with very clean rooms and excellent service. We’ll definitely book here next time we’re at Almadeenah Almunawarrah, in sha'Allaah.

The rooms are small, but acceptable. The Iftar was a real letdown, with very little choice: mostly basic rice and lots of canned food. Even the juice was canned and poor quality, and there was no fruit or coffee. For a hotel of international renown, it was a very modest meal that didn’t inspire any appetite. I’ve already paid for this stay, but this is my last time here. I won’t be coming back. There are better places to stay around.

The shuttle schedule was the bigger problem for me. It runs twice for each prayer and comes back only once or twice, so if you want to eat after praying, shop, or do anything else, you may have to take a taxi. That can cost 5-15 riyal. I’d definitely stay again if the shuttle ran every half an hour, like at other hotels. Otherwise, everything was great: the hotel, rooms, service, and stay. I also heard other guests complaining that the bathroom sinks were mostly blocked. Hope this helps.
