Mariam A.
The room was clean, and the staff were genuinely kind. They brought our luggage up, and having a 14:00 checkout was a nice plus. A few room details felt inconsistent: there were only three hangers, just one bath towel and one bath mat, but four body lotions. The keycards also kept disconnecting after about 12 hours, or if they were near a phone, so we had to reactivate them every day. Getting to the Haram was the bigger drawback. It’s a bit far, and with construction around the Haram Circle changing daily, many drivers struggled to get us close. A few trips took twice as long. If you’re fine taking taxis and don’t have a car, it can work, but otherwise the distance may be inconvenient, especially on a tighter budget.
