Hotel Karam Al Madina

It’s better, though during Umrah and Hajj time you don’t get all the services you need.

The location, lift, and service were good. The room could use more space, the AC needs a remote, and the Wi-Fi is sloooow.

For Madina, this is above what I’d expect from a standard three-star hotel. Better than average.

There’s nowhere proper to sit in the rooms, just beds, and you can’t adjust the central cooling beyond switching it on or off. The cooking fan regulator has the same problem, so I kept turning the AC on and off. The washroom ventilation doesn’t work and it gets smelly, while room service is only available at set hours, including times when you may still be asleep in the morning. It’s a reasonable three-star place, but cheaper hotels can be closer to the museum or Roza side. The old-fashioned property needs serious renovation.
