The rooms were kept tidy, cleaned regularly, and maintained well. Staff were excellent too. I stayed when it was still called Rua Al Andalus, so I can't say much about how it is now, though I expect it's largely similar. For the price, especially being so close to masjid an nabawi, it was great value. Madinah is usually the more expensive of the two harams to stay near, but this place was fairly priced. I'd recommend it very strongly if you find a good deal.

We spent a week here after performing holy hajj this year, and being so close to Haram was a real help. The rooms were moderately clean, but service was very poor. Staff were reluctant to change the bed covers or empty the waste bins, and the room had no hand towels or sandals. The lobby water filter stopped working during our stay and was still broken when we left. The staff were impolite and often talked back. Totally unexpected.

The bedbugs made it impossible to sleep, and we ended up changing our plans and leaving earlier than intended. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the mosque despite the bad reviews, and it turned into a nightmare. They refused to check us in, saying our payment hadn't arrived even though it had reached them twice. Staff kept lying about it, then the receptionist was extremely rude and threatened us when we asked for a refund for the double payment. They became physically violent. The worst hotel and staff ever. If you've got extra money, don't even consider staying here.

Housekeeping and the staff were really friendly. The room wasn't kept in the best shape, but the cheap price reflected that. The location is hard to beat: you can see Masjid an Nabawi, and it takes less than two minutes to get inside. I'd suggest it for a group of young guys, rather than bringing a wife and kids. God willing, I’ll stay here again next time I go.

We spent four days here with family and had no issues. The reception was very helpful and seemed to care about customers. It's about a 30-second walk to the mosque, and you can hear the azan from the room. Great hotel for the location and price. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a calm place nearby.
