Rehab Al Nour Hotel

We have been here four days and still no one has come to collect the garbage or clean the bathrooms. We have to take the rubbish out ourselves, and there has been no cleaning at all. All five rooms were in a dirty state when we checked in, and the only carpets without stains were in reception. The lift doors, panels, and help buttons are held together with tape. In the rooms, wallpaper is torn, sockets hang out of the walls, and the electrical work looks dangerous. Our bathroom got blocked, and despite complaints it was never fixed during our stay. If anything breaks, you're in trouble. The people in charge seem to know nothing about hospitality, and talking to them feels like talking to a wall. The appliances don't work properly either. The TV has no reception or poor reception, the Wi-Fi is incredibly slow and hard to connect to, and the safe won't open at all, as if it's only there to look like they provide one. Reception is occupied by ladies who don't know English, and whenever we ask for customer service they send us to cleaners who are rude too. The staff are rude overall. Our travel agent booked the hotel for my family. Al-Noor Travels of Bradford, UK rated it three stars, but I don't think it's worth even one. We can't contact them, so we're stuck in this nasty hotel. If a tour operator tries to place you here, be aware of the problems and insist on somewhere else.

We had five rooms for eight nights, and every one was dirty when we arrived. The toilets were disgusting, the breakfast was terrible, and some of the food was old. Even the milk was off. Our rooms were never cleaned, and the bedding wasn't changed once during the whole stay. The cleaners sat by the lifts all day watching videos on their phones. It's also a long walk to the women's salaah side. I wouldn't recommend booking here.

For men, the hotel works well because it's very close to the roza. Women may find it unsuitable since reaching the women's side involves a lot of walking. The location is good, but the hotel needs to give more attention to maintenance.

There's a baqala nearby, and public transport is readily available at any time. The hotel also offers a good breakfast, room service, laundry, and ironing. From the rooms you can see the whole mosque and the Gumbat e Khizra, and it's close to gate no. 5 of Haram. Masjid e Nabwi is just a walk away. A decent hotel with good amenities and excellent service, especially recommended for families and older people who have difficulty walking.
