Shada Collection Mina Hotel

We're from the UK, and booking a hotel in Umluj had been a nightmare until we found Juman hotel on Google. Like most hotels in town, it couldn't be booked online, so we had to phone from the UK. We were lucky that Ishfaq was working when we called. He was the only staff member who spoke English, and he helped us reserve a room by phone. The booking was handled surprisingly well: our confirmation and invoice came by email, and we didn't need to pay a deposit. Ishfaq also sent a Whatsapp message with his number in case we had any problems with the booking. At check-in, Yasser helped us, with Farouk translating. Our room faced the sea, was the right size for what we needed, and was kept very clean over our two-night stay. There was free parking in a lot next to the hotel. When that was full, we could also find free spaces along the road. We skipped breakfast, so can't comment on it. The room did have tea and coffee-making supplies, plus complimentary biscuits and snacks. For what we paid, we have no complaints. Not all the staff speak English, but we managed to get our messages across without trouble. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we'd recommend this lovely town and hotel to other visitors.

In the Cornish area of UmmLaj, this is a small hotel with compact rooms. They were clean and had all the amenities we needed.

Everything was good.

A very good hotel, with friendly staff. The cleanliness was the best part.
