Swiss International Taba Alsalam

Abu Bakar from housekeeping was always respectful and humble, greeting us with a smile and keeping our room clean, fresh, and organized every day. He also made sure we had water or other toiletries whenever we needed them. The hotel is very close and convenient, though I found the price high for the room size.

Ms Nouf at reception and Ms Nasreen from the buffet and dining team helped us a lot and made our stay great. When our flight to kuwait was canceled, they comforted us and helped us through it. I’ll definitely come back.

The room was so cramped we could barely walk around, the WiFi kept cutting out, and the key stopped working randomly several times a day. We booked through Expedia for 4 adults and 1 child, since Expedia says a child can be anywhere from 1 to 17. The front desk woman had the audacity to laugh at us. They let you book for five, but don’t have a room for five, and wouldn’t accommodate us at all. The price was insane, 500 dollars a night for 2 nights. We could have gotten a 5 star hotel here. They then tried to charge more for breakfast because there were five of us instead of four. The breakfast was the worst we had on this trip. The location is the only thing going for this place. Terrible experience.

The service was beyond excellent, and the staff were ready to help with anything at any time of day. But room 805 was soooo tiny, with a very compact double bed, even though I’d mentioned while booking that I had 2 kids under 5. I could barely get the stroller inside. The room size and the breakfast they served were really disappointing.
