Al Mursalat Palace

There’s no reception area anymore, so the Yemeni man has to leave his room to come help you. They’re only offering monthly and yearly rentals, and the furniture hasn’t been replaced. The apartments are run-down, the air conditioners drip onto the furniture, and there’s a bad smell. The sewage odor lasts from dawn until noon and gets stronger in the sun. I don’t recommend staying here.

The rooms are an excellent size, and the service is smart. The Yemeni man is wonderful, and the skinny young guy is incredibly helpful, always saying he’s at your service. But the street is full of kitchens, there’s a sewage smell, and the cleanliness is zero.

The room is a great size and the air conditioning works well, but there’s an unpleasant odor. The furniture needs attention, damaged pieces should be replaced, and the place needs freshening up.

The apartments were beautiful, neat, and clean. I’d rate them 8 out of 10. Abu Aisha, the Yemeni man, was very professional, though service from the other Yemeni man was very poor.
