Al Raha Garden Furnished Apartments 2

I learned the hard way and would tell people to stay away. My booking through Expedia, made three days before the trip, looked tempting because of the low price, but getting in touch was already a mess. The number on the confirmed booking page didn't ring, and another number I found through Google Maps was wrong too. When I arrived late at night, the receptionist couldn't check the online reservation because, as he put it, the PC was broken. I ended up booking from scratch at the property for a different price. I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep, so I went along with it. The room smelled horrendous, like cooked dead roaches mixed with human excrement. The window AC units were incredibly loud, and one wasn't working at all. They moved me to another room, but it had the same awful smell and the same dated 1970s-style furniture, with stains and burns. It was probably the worst apartment stay I've ever had.
