The location is good, and room service was good too. The staff were generally very good, though one Arabic man refused to give us a room even though we had booked through booking.com, and told us to go elsewhere. After we asked again a few minutes later, an Arabic woman at the counter gave us the room. The rooms also seem to go without regular checks, since we had to point out several things needing repair for our one-day stay.
The apartment was clean and spacious, and the staff were helpful. We stayed two nights on our way from Muscat, Oman to Makkah, and it was worth the stop. There was no cold water on the first day, but it was fixed the next day. It's a bit away from the city center, though manageable. A large masjid is right next door. There's a small grocery store closer by and a bigger one about 400 mtr away on foot. Al.baik, shawarmer and othaim market are a short drive away.
The management was very understanding about our schedule and let us have flexible check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. The apartment was spotless, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. A perfect stay, and I'd highly recommend it.
I spent a month at Al Nakeel Hotel and had a great stay. The rooms stayed clean and comfortable throughout, which made it relaxing. Miss Huda at reception deserves a special thanks for being friendly and helping me so well. Highly recommended!
