Bab Samhan, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Diriyah

At the lobby lounge, Bikash the bartender made the visit feel personal and welcoming, not like just another hotel stop. He was confident, friendly and professional, and knew a lot about beverages and flavors. The drinks were balanced just right, looked beautiful and matched what we felt like having. I had an amazing time at Babs Sahman Hotel, and service like that really lifts the whole hotel experience. Definitely coming back.

Diriyah's historical district is lively, and the hotel's location right in its heart is incredible. The grounds are breathtaking, and the room details were great, right down to the Frette towels. The only small downside was the very small gym and limited equipment. Maybe some hotel space could be repurposed to make for a fuller experience. Every staff member was a joy to be around. I may forget some names, but I want to mention a few. At the front desk, Muhannad welcomed me warmly and taught me the traditional Saudi greeting. Abdulrahman took care of every need and was very accommodating, while Norah was incredibly nice and always went above and beyond. Manager Faisal has built a real all-star team. Shoukat from the bell staff was a superhero, carrying my luggage several times without a snag and even helping me pack my suitcases. I couldn't ask for someone better at his job. Pierre, the restaurant manager, delivered one of the best hotel restaurant experiences. It was certainly the best breakfast I've had at any Marriott property. He offered extra items outside the traditional menu and handled every specific request perfectly. Joevlyn was one of the most attentive servers I've ever had and brings incredible passion to her job. Mahmood also did a phenomenal job making sure everything was in proper form.

The hotel is lovely and charming, with nice rooms, and the service seemed professional at first. Still, the experience fell short. We were meant to get a room upgrade, but were told no rooms were available, so they offered us a meal instead. When we went to use it, they initially said it wasn't included. They eventually honored it after we insisted. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the situation left us wondering whether the upgrade was really unavailable. Communication and service could be better.

The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. At Baby Samhain Hotal, the rooms were spotless and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The food was fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety to suit different tastes. They took care of all the little details, making the experience memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect stay.
