Braira Hettin Resort & Villas

The bedroom floors were wiped with a dirty cloth, leaving a cloudy film. The food they brought us was poor quality, too. When I ordered from the room service menu that was supposed to be in the villa, the receptionist said there was nobody to serve me and that everyone was busy. Completely disappointing and unacceptable customer service.

We’ve waited 15 minutes or longer for someone to open the gate, and sometimes ended up late for appointments because nobody was there to let us out while staff were busy playing volleyball. Food is hard to get on time because calls go unanswered. As I write this, I’ve been calling the kitchen continuously for five hours to order, with no answer. You’re better off cooking for yourself, or you could go hungry. Save your money and skip this hotel.

The location is great and the staff were all polite, but my stay had a string of problems. The internet went out for four hours, there was a noise issue in the bathroom that took a couple of hours to fix, and none of the phones worked. We had to keep walking to reception to complain. On our last night, the electricity went off for a couple of hours as well. I expected a luxurious, professional place, but got politeness and words without follow-up.

The staff treated my children wonderfully, and my kids were happy with the people at reception, in the restaurant, and elsewhere in the hotel. I also appreciated the Saudi customs and traditions, like welcoming hotel guests with Saudi dates and coffee. My thanks from the heart.
