Everything else about the hotel was great, and the staff were courteous and very welcoming. The rooms were clean too. My only issue was the pillows: they were so soft that my neck hurt. It would help to have firmer ones available as an option.

The room felt eerie, and I don't think this place deserves a four-star rating. Breakfast wasn't good either. The room smelled bad, and rain brought a disturbing noise from the small window. The interior looked dated, and part of the floor was coming loose.

The prices are very good for a four-star hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were helpful. The service was excellent too.

I spent nearly 30,000 riyals during my stay, but my complaints were met with indifference from the staff and manager, and sometimes they even joked about them. I got no apology or compensation. I've stayed at another Grand Plaza in Riyadh that was far better, so this one has no excuse. This was the worst hotel stay of my life, and I'd urge others to avoid it. The key card stopped working every day, even after I was moved to a different room, so I kept having to go back to reception. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the bath had a large crack and hole that made it almost unusable. Breakfast was cold and tasteless, and seemed as if it had been left out for days. The leisure facilities were in bad shape as well. Almost every gym machine was broken, and the spa seemed abandoned, with the sauna, steam room, and other amenities all out of order.
