I always choose this hotel when I visit Riyadh. It’s in a nice spot on Olaya street, and the rooms are clean and good. The service is amazing, and breakfast is good too. Mr. Ansari took really good care of me, and that young man provided great service. A great experience overall.

The restaurant was lovely, clean, and offered plenty of variety. The reception staff were cheerful and cooperative, and Mr. Mohammed Qatnan Al-Jahdali deserves a special mention for his warm smile, helpfulness, and professional explanations of the facilities and schedules. Al WAHA Continental has a wonderful location and excellent service, and the hotel really deserves its five-star rating. Thank you to the hotel and to Mr. Mohammed Qatnan Al-Jahdali. I highly recommend both the hotel and this helpful gentleman, who will take great care of you.

I paid SAR 337 for an Iftar buffet in Riyadh, hoping my family and I would have a pleasant meal. Instead, we left without proper food and without a refund. I saw at least two other families have the same experience, leaving angry and disappointed without eating. Most of the buffet stations were empty when we went over. There was some rice and a few vegetable dishes, but many of the advertised main items weren’t available. I asked the serving staff, the chef at the counter, and other staff several times to refill the trays. The food either didn’t come out again or was taken selectively to certain tables instead of being put back out for everyone. After waiting quite a while with no improvement, we decided to leave and asked for a refund because we hadn’t been able to eat properly. We were told to wait for the manager, and that took around 30 minutes. When the manager arrived, the response was extremely disappointing and rather rude. We were told a refund wasn’t possible because we had already entered the buffet area, and that we could sit back down and wait for service if we wanted. Given how things had gone, we chose to leave instead of waiting any longer. For a buffet at this price, I expected the food to be available, the service to be attentive, and complaints to be handled professionally. This experience failed on all counts. Management should review how food is replenished, the service quality, and how customer complaints are handled, especially during the busy Ramadan Iftar period.
