Le Méridien Riyadh

The only drawback was hearing quite a bit of road noise at times, especially motorbikes racing past at night. It didn’t take too much away from our stay, though. The hotel is also within walking distance of several malls, which was very convenient. We spent two nights at Le Méridien Riyadh as a stopover before travelling to Southeast Asia, and had a very pleasant time. After a long journey, it was much appreciated when the bell boy opened the car door and promptly took our luggage. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and Khaled, the night manager, was extremely kind and professional. His surprise upgrade was a lovely touch. Our one-bedroom suite was clean, tidy, spacious, and well maintained, just right for resting before the onward trip. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the friendly, attentive staff took great care of us. We’d happily stay again.

My family and I left hungry because we simply couldn’t eat the food at Iftar at Le Méridien Riyadh today. The salads tasted like they’d been prepared the day before, and the vegetables were soggy and unappetizing. The meat also wasn’t properly cooked, which was extremely concerning. I’ve eaten at many five-star hotels and restaurants during Ramadan, and this was by far my lowest-quality experience. It fell below even the basic standards I expect from a hotel in this category. It was absolutely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it at all. If I could give less than zero stars, I would.

I’ve become a regular at the restaurant on the first level of Le Meridian Hotel Riyadh, and I really enjoyed the experience and the offer. The venue has a nice ambience and great value for the price. The open seafood buffet on Thursdays is outstanding in every way. There’s a wide choice of seafood, including fish, prawns, shells, and calamry, and the dishes taste great with a lovely style of cooking. Chef Amr put in tremendous effort and helped present the dishes beautifully without losing any of their undoubt flavor. Thanks also to his assistance and to the waiters Samun and Akhil. I wouldn’t want this offer to end.

Ruba made things so easy for me, especially by sorting out check-in and coordinating with the butler. It was the best check-in I’ve had. I stayed in a spacious, comfortable junior suite, and both the lobby and the room decor were lovely.
