I kept having to ask for drinking water, and even after they replenished it, there were no cups. A bathroom towel also arrived only much later despite several requests. The toilet hadn't been cleaned, and the room didn't even have a tissue box. Service was lacking throughout, and I had a very disappointing stay at Mena Andalusia Hotel. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained place.

The location worked really well for me, and I liked having King Fahad National Library nearby to visit. Breakfast was very good for me, even though the choices were the same every day, and the gym had a good number of machines. With the new room, food, gym, and location, I like staying here. Because my work is continuing, I may stay 2-3 months. I'm still here now, after 20 days, and the experience has gone between good, bad, and awful. Room 401 was bad from the start. The bathroom was dirty and leaking, but I was tired from work and accepted it. The AC barely cooled the room, so I had to take a cold shower before sleeping. I had early work and couldn't speak to staff about a room change, and stayed there 10 days. No one came to clean during those 10 days either. Then the lock stopped working, and for two days I waited outside for 1:30 hours until it was repaired. Once I'd had enough, I asked to move. I should have done it sooner, but thought maybe the whole hotel had the same problems. After those 10 awful days they moved me to room 412. The interior is the same, but it's much cleaner, the bathroom is in better shape, and it has a bathtub. Room service now comes almost daily, though they still skip some days. The AC works better, but still isn't very good. The room remains very dusty. I asked room service to vacuum, and they did, but not very well. If I leave my laptop open all day, its screen ends up covered in dust. I suspect an issue with the central AC or that the floor hasn't been cleaned properly for a long time. The traffic depends on where each person works. For me, the location is the best. Sharing some random photos I took at the hotel and very nearby.

The meat at the Holiday Inn Olaya iftar buffet was very poor quality, and the buffet fell short of what I expected. I'd rate it 2 out of 10.

The rooms are pretty standard, though they have all the amenities you need. The location is good, and the GYM deserves a shout-out 🔥
