Motiara Hotel - La Valle Mall

The hotel itself is very nice, but my experience with one staff member was terrible. The administrator was extremely rude and didn’t know how to speak to customers appropriately. He acted as if he owned the hotel, and I’ve never been spoken to with that kind of disrespect. It was a very bad experience. The odd thing is that the receptionist asks each customer to leave a review about him on this site. Please remind the staff that I’m a hotel guest, not his friend, and that I should be treated respectfully.

The rooms are new, spacious, and nicely laid out, and there’s plenty of parking both at ground level and in the basement. The local man at the front desk was professional, and the service there was very good. The toilets don’t match the rooms and need a facelift, while the halls have very little seating, just by reception and the basement lift. I’d visit again.

For a solo business trip, the location was easy to reach, and I appreciated the cleanliness, quietness, parking, and comfortable bed and pillows. There were a few problems, though: the water flow in the shower was slow, the price felt high, and the minibar was empty. The TV screen was poor. Room service, a restaurant, and laundry were lacking, and the front desk staff weren’t always there.

The room was the biggest I’ve ever seen, and the hotel is brand new in a perfect location with lots of shops nearby. There were two issues: noise from the steel board on the road, which isn’t the hotel’s fault, and no room service.
