Obeir Resident Hotel

The food at the bar is nice, and everything is spotlessly clean. I loved the lit-up cliff sides, heated pool, river between the apartments, and the field to walk around. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful, but the hotel backs onto paddle board courts where people play and shout until well past midnight. The noise makes it hard to enjoy the quiet.

Things need urgent attention here, and it’s getting dirtier every day. The outdoor pool is broken, the indoor pool has been out of order for months, and the new gym is ready but still hasn’t opened. The internet and TV don’t work either.

It may look charming that the area sits in a valley, but there’s no phone signal or reception at all, and delivery services don’t reach here. That makes everyday life unnecessarily difficult. The villas and townhouses look nice from the outside, but inside there’s an unbearable smell of sewage and decay. The finishing and materials throughout are poor quality. Looks can be deceiving, and this place isn’t worth the hype.

I live in the compound, not the hotel. For some reason, booking the hotel doesn’t seem possible 🤔
