I couldn't give this place less than one star. The facilities are poor, and the staff are very arrogant.

I only stayed two days, even though I had planned to book for a month. The hotel itself is nice, but the man at reception from Egypt was rude and arrogant, and spoke to customers badly. The reception felt awful and nosy. He was the worst part of the stay.

The reception team were helpful and courteous whenever I had questions or needed anything. Mr. Mohammed Omar and Mr. Hassan especially stood out for their professional service. I had a wonderful stay at Al-Ulya Apartments, and the accommodation was comfortable and exceptional in every way.

We paid 150 for a room because it was cheap, and brought the children with us. There was no wardrobe, bathroom slippers, or clothes hangers when we asked for headscarves. Then an insect started biting us, so we left. They moved us to another room and wanted 200 for it. The rooms were awful and didn't even smell clean. Even at 200, it was a real mess. (laughs)
