Ritaj Hotel Suites

My experience was very bad. There was no heater for the winter.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The photos are fake, and I can’t see how it could be called three stars. The bedsheets were covered in human hair, the pillow smelled awful, and there were cockroaches. The toilet wouldn’t flush, and the hot water heater was broken and leaking. They wouldn’t give us fresh blankets either. Staff said they’d bring some, but never did. I got a sore throat within an hour of staying there. The service was appalling, and I hope the police fine and close the place. I’d rather sleep in a car.

We’ve stayed here a few times and haven’t had a bad experience. The managers and staff were accommodating, and prices are among the cheapest for hotel suites in Riyadh. Some rooms do need better upkeep, especially the air conditioning, but otherwise things have been fine. We hope to visit again.

The rooms smelled bad, and on check-in day we were told the previous renter still hadn’t checked out, even though we had booked and paid well in advance. We had also reserved the VIP lounge ahead of time, but at the last minute they gave it to other renters and refused to refund us. It feels like a scam, and I think management is happy to keep this scheme going. The service was bad.
