Solis Villa Resort

A beautiful place with excellent staff. Ashwaq at reception especially stood out.

The villas are clean and very spacious, and the service is quick. There's no restaurant on site, but the takeaway we ordered arrived hot and was delicious. The cafe serves great coffee, lattes, juices, croissants, and cakes. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the place feels like a peaceful oasis amid Riyadh's bustle. For the price, I'd choose this over the Hilton and other four- and five-star hotels, since it offers great value. The main downside for business travelers is the distance from downtown. Abderrahman

The villa was neat and clean, with our own pool and BBQ area. We had a lovely couple of days, and the staff were professional, helpful, and warmly welcoming. The lemonade welcome drink was delicious. I'd recommend the place and will definitely return.

The private backyard pool was a good size and really nice, and the new decor is impressive and easy on the eye. But a lot of things were already coming apart: door knobs were loose, and all the showers clogged and flooded. The place also reeked of smoke. The courtyard feels like an accident waiting to happen. Huge ladders fixed to the building lead up to the roof, and any child could climb them. I think it's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. The place is a mixed bag, since everything looks new but has these problems. I'd also suggest replacing the solid fence by the pool with glass.
