After my 1,000 km drive, the full iftar buffet at the 9th-floor rotating restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was satisfying, though nothing extraordinary. There's also dates and qahwa in the lobby, and a large parking area behind the hotel. It's a peaceful place to stay if you like nature, and the accommodation is comfortable with good amenities. A few service fixes and small upgrades would improve it. My room had a lovely view of the Unaiza country side through its large window. It was well equipped, but smaller than it looked in the photos. The bed and linen were very comfortable, and there were bedside mobile charging stations. The kitchenette had a sink and kettle. The big TV had no channels, which was disappointing. The bathroom was nice, with a well-stocked amenities kit including a dental kit, vanity kit, shampoo, and body lotion. Hot water was easy to get, but there was no hook for hanging clothes. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, though the carpet in the room needs replacing. Check-in took an extra hour because the digital agreement had to be signed through a link sent by WhatsApp or SMS. The receptionist had trouble sending it to my Qatari number, and we waited a long time before a more experienced staff member sorted it out.
