Tulip Inn Yanbu

There’s a swimming pool, and the breakfast was excellent. I also liked the stylish interior, plus having a work desk and refrigerator in the room. The hotel is right across from the Corniche, the most beautiful part of Yanbu. I’m delighted with the hotel and highly recommend staying here.

This was our fourth stay, and every time the experience has gone beyond what we expected. There was an issue with the room this time, but they upgraded us to a suite right away. Mr Mohammed Alhuweiti at the front desk, then Mr Mishary Al Ghamdi, and the support staff Mr Ghulam and Mr Shojol all went beyond their duties to make us comfortable. The hotel is very close to the sea and has a beautiful view.

The first room was meant to be non-smoking, but it had a strong cigarette smell. That was unacceptable. The pool was completely empty, and the facilities felt underwhelming; the place lacked warmth and energy. The welcome was only average, and the service and general experience fell short of what I’d expect from a hotel in this category. Overall, Novotel Yanbu was disappointing and didn’t meet the standards I’d normally expect from a Novotel.

At checkout, the receptionist wouldn't give us an invoice and said we had to ask our company because it had paid. I told her I was the one staying there, and asked how the company could know how many nights we stayed or what extras we used. She had no clear answer. Earlier, at 7:00 am on 30/01/26, I asked a woman on the morning shift for a replacement card after I'd left mine in the room. She spoke rudely and asked why I needed a new one every day, though it was my first request. The worst hotel stay I've had.
