Lagati Residence

The view from the big windows and balcony is spectacular, with the ocean, green hills and mountains all around. I couldn’t stop looking at the landscape. Stephanie, Asanka and Jony were so friendly and welcoming. The apartment is new, clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped for a comfortable, relaxing stay. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from wonderful Anse Forbans beach. The flowers, fruit basket and drinks waiting for us on arrival were such a thoughtful touch after a long journey. Thanks again for such an enjoyable stay!

The beach is right at the doorstep, just a 1-2 minute walk from the room. The room’s view is already something I miss, and the place itself is new and very well maintained. It was great value for money, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a few peaceful, comfortable days. Asanka took wonderful care of us, welcoming us with a lovely fruit platter and hibiscus tea. We loved our time here!

The view is the one real plus. The beach access is convenient, too, and it could be a nice fit if you’re after a beach view and an easy walk to the water. But we stayed for three days and the service was bad. There was no washing machine, and although there was a kitchen, most of the items weren’t available. We got drinking water on one day, but not the other two. Room cleaning was awful: no fresh towels or hand towels during the three days, and shower water ran across the whole bathroom. For two or three days there wasn’t even a mat to dry our feet. It felt like a waste of money. The hotel is 20 km from the main city.
