The Station Seychelles

The view over Victoria and the islands beyond was lovely. We stopped for coffee in the morning, then came back for lunch because this little place had just the kind of food we wanted. 👍

We only stopped for coffee and didn’t stay in the accommodation, though it looked nice. The people were outgoing and welcoming, and the coffee was great. It’s also a fantastic spot if you’re heading out on hikes around the national park.

For a quiet break surrounded by nature, this small hotel worked really well for me. Its central island location keeps it away from the busy tourist spots, though that also means the beach is farther away. There weren’t many other tourists around, which made it feel peaceful. The buildings are old but in great condition, and the place has a natural charm. I liked being in this setting much more than surrounded by concrete in a large hotel. The restaurant is small and serves good, healthy food, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms don’t have extras like air conditioning or a TV. That was fine by me: the climate didn’t call for air conditioning, and I was there to relax.

The owners are nice, but this property is not a four-star hotel. The buildings are old and, to me, don’t meet that standard. There’s no air conditioning, insects are everywhere, and dinner was vegetarian. It’s also far away, high up on the mountain.
