We feel at home whenever we stay at Villa Luana Yuna, and this was our second visit. We live in London and have friends on Mahé, but we keep choosing this wonderful residence when we come to see them. Luana (the owner) gave us lots of tips for enjoying the island and helped arrange a rental car at a great price. We recommend having a car to get around, though there is a bus stop right in front of the villas. The area is quiet and residential, with restaurants, a market, and a craft village nearby. The sea is just across the road, and at low tide you can walk out to the coral reef. We also loved eating coconuts that had fallen in the garden. It’s a huge property, yet every palm and plant is meticulously looked after. Stanley the guardian made us an excellent barbecue and a typical Creole dinner. There are always nice surprises here. Thanks for everything, we’ll come back again.
