L'Hirondelle

Everyone working there was so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely, prepared and brought to our room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and really nice. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets, and food trucks in about five minutes on foot, while the gorgeous beach is just across the road. There’s a construction site behind the guest house at the moment, but they let us know by email beforehand.

A nice surprise was having breakfast prepared in our room. The location is perfect, just 10 meters from Anse Volbert, and the owners and staff were friendly. Everything was clean.

The apartments are clean, quaint, and practical, and the small hotel is run with a lot of care. We stayed at L‘Hirondelle for four days and were really impressed. From its spot at Cote D‘Or, there are several good restaurants and bars nearby. Prices are modest, too. Highly recommended.

The staff were incredibly kind and always ready to help, and the bed was very comfortable. Each room is a proper apartment, with plenty of space inside and a veranda opening onto the garden. Ours was a great place to eat or relax on the beach chairs, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was also a useful couch and desk, plus a very spacious toilet. The mosquito net was clean and useful. The property is right across from a lovely beach, though bring mosquito spray and body oil because there are sand bugs everywhere on the beach!
