Roche Kerlan Apartments

We booked Roche Kerlan after reading the good reviews and seeing the spacious apartment. After five nights, we were really glad we chose it. Communication was quick, friendly, and always useful, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Having a car made the convenient location even better, with everything close by. Our three-year-old loved the pool at the neighboring hotel. Guests can use it when they place an order at the pool bar. We had a great stay, thanks to the whole team!

The apartments were clean, comfortable, and equipped with what we needed, so it was easy to relax and enjoy our holiday on Praslin. Brigitte deserves a special thank you for going out of her way to help and making us feel welcome. Stephanie was wonderful onsite too, taking care of all our requests and making Easter feel extra special. We really appreciated the hospitality and personal touches. We’d happily recommend the place and hope to come back one day.

There’s a little beach about a two-minute walk away. It wasn’t the best beach on Praslin, but it was very close. The location was convenient, with lots of stores nearby, parking, and a private, gated property that closes overnight. Our rooms were roomy, tidy, and had what we needed for cooking and laundry. Staff dealt with requests and any problems almost right away. Selwyn was especially helpful, and can cook an amazing dinner if you ask separately. We found Roche Kerlan good value for the price.

The apartment was large and had pretty much everything we needed: a washing machine, beach towels, good hair dryers, dishes and cutlery, toiletries, plus salt, pepper, coffee, and sugar. It was cleaned and the towels changed every other day. Selwyn was friendly and quick to sort out any problems during our stay. Brigitte was also very helpful before we arrived, arranging rental cars for both Praslin and Mahe, and it all went smoothly. We felt safe in the area, with a couple of grocery stores and a takeaway truck nearby. The airport is only a four-minute drive away, and the airstrip is close, but the small planes only land during the day and didn’t bother us. There’s a little west-facing beach a two-minute walk away. The waves and high tide meant we couldn’t use it at this time of year, though we still got to enjoy lovely sunsets.
