The house above the beach was a beautiful setting for our wedding, and having family stay on site made it even more special. Everyone was comfortable throughout. We couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out, and we’ll treasure the memories. The Deckenia team looked after us from the moment we arrived. James, thank you for your calm, professional leadership and for patiently guiding me through the occasional bridezilla moment. Your support during the preparations and our stay meant so much. John, thank you for your hard work, care, and attention to detail. A special thanks to the talented Sri Lankan gentleman who created the breathtaking bed displays. The one waiting on our wedding night made me gasp, and I’ll always remember that thoughtful touch. The chefs listened closely to our requests and made delicious, elevated versions of everything we’d hoped for. Aurelie worked so late and so hard, always smiling, and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. The serving staff were so attentive and brought such joy to the celebrations, especially when they joined the evening dancing and fun. The boat day was a blast, and jet skis the next day kept the celebrations going. Snorkelling around the island gave everyone a chance to see wonderful sea life and turtles. Truly unforgettable.

A paradise of a villa, perfect for anyone wanting luxury, nature, and total relaxation. One of my most memorable stays, an easy 10/10 recommendation.

We spent six unforgettable nights at Villa Deckenia, and the team’s service was what really set it apart. They made sure everything was just as we wanted, with a professional but personal touch that never felt intrusive. One lovely example was the private beach barbecue they arranged for us. The villa itself is stunning, with carefully designed rooms, beautiful materials, and elegant interiors that still feel warm. The grounds and ocean views are breathtaking. Its terraces offer sun and shade at different times of day, and the pools are lovely for relaxing or spending time together. From the moment we arrived, the place felt peaceful, private, and luxurious. It was a dream stay, and we can’t wait to return for more time with loved ones.

My favourite part was the private beach, especially dinner at sunset and the bonfire. I also loved the outdoor showers in the island style and the lovely open field. The chef and kitchen crew were highly efficient and gave us the best service. James, the Villa host, took care of every special need and request, including my diet and food wishes, which made this my best holiday. I had a magical, peaceful stay at Villa Deckenia, exploring so many beautiful private beaches and other islands with an amazing boat captain. Thank you to the kind, caring team for such a wonderful private beach escape. I highly recommend it and will definitely see you when I come back! Love Praslin Island 🏝️ Natalie

We’re about to leave after four glorious days, and the whole stay has been pure bliss. James, the manager, John, our butler, and the rest of the staff looked after us so well. The food, prepared by an award-winning local chef, was sublime. It’s quite a journey for us, but we’ll definitely return.
