Villa Laure

Guy, the owner, lives nearby and was so nice to us. Our baby loved him, and he was happy to chat and tell us about the island. Having him close was really convenient. The new house was perfectly clean, thank you Giuditta!, and had everything we needed for cooking. A beautiful experience and a great place to spend a vacation in Praslin.

The villa was clean and tidy, and works well for a trip with friends or other couples since every bedroom has its own bathroom. There’s lush, exotic greenery around, and the beach is under five minutes away. Restaurants, takeaway spots, shops and the other things you need are nearby. The location is absolutely perfect for a holiday on Praslin island.

Julita welcomed us warmly and was ready to help with anything. The house had everything we needed and more. It sits on a fenced plot shared with a sister villa, with two gates for a private entrance and space to park a rental car. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. You can hear schoolchildren about 100 meters away at recess, but we didn’t find them bothersome, we actually found the sound relaxing.

The villa is well placed for sightseeing, and Julietta is delighted to welcome her guests. There is another villa nearby, but the property is large enough that it wasn’t an issue for us. The area feels safe. Some people may be unsettled by the bars on the windows, but they’re common in countries where windows are often left open. I don’t understand the criticism.
