Corinthia Hotel Khartum

For a business stay in Khartoum there aren’t many good hotel options, and this one turned out to be a good pick. It isn’t cheap, but the service, facilities, and comfortable room make the price feel worthwhile. The staff are approachable, friendly, and helpful. My room was very spacious, almost like a studio apartment, and comfortable for relaxing. Breakfast has plenty of choices, including a live egg and pancake station where you can ask for what you like. I had a passport registration issue with the immigration office that could have become serious if I hadn’t followed up. If you ask the hotel to handle this, make sure they have the required delegation letters and keep checking until it’s done. The other drawback was the extremely high fee for a taxi ride to the nearby airport through their hired service. Finding a taxi elsewhere can cost less than a third of what they charge. The gym has enough equipment for regular use. There’s another Khartoum option at a similar price, but for my next visits I’d choose this one for its location.

The staff were very accommodating, and we enjoyed the amenities, including the indoor pool and massage. There was a good variety of breakfast options. It’s the best hotel in Khartoum, with a nice view, and we’ll definitely come back.

I had a business trip stay here and found it the best in the city. The Blue Nile view was lovely, and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. I liked the business facilities, the friendly, extremely helpful staff, and the restaurants, which offered excellent variety and tasty, quality food. The gym, sauna, steam room, and pool were all perfect too.

The staff were excellent and extremely helpful, and breakfast was excellent too. From the egg-shaped structure, the views of the Blue Nile meeting the White Nile are beautiful. I think the room prices should be reviewed, since the rooms aren’t as modern as those in other hotels I’ve stayed in for much less. The helpfulness also fits the general feeling I’ve had from Sudanese people.
