We’ve stayed twice at this wonderful place in central Borgholm, within walking distance of most things. Before we’d even left after our second stay, we were already planning the next one. It works for groups of all sizes. The owners live right in town, so they’re always nearby and easy to reach if you need help or have questions. Even a somewhat late booking change was no problem. The hosts were so welcoming, and the apartment we stayed in was charming. The house sits in a lovely garden dotted with apple and pear trees. It’s very quiet and well placed for exploring beautiful Öland, while still being close to shops and restaurants. A very pleasant stay.

The owner’s family were superb. When we were heading home, the man brought me freshly dug hollyhocks for my garden in Åhus. The room was 65 sqm, now that’s what I call a good hotel room! There’s a big, lush garden with a barbecue area, and the central location near the harbor is perfect.

The host couple are very friendly, and their 9 apartments are about a hundred meters from most things in central Borgholm. The rooms are good, with an okay standard, and the price is fair. They could put a little more into the standard, but it’s good enough as it is.

The rooms are really cozy and nice, and work well for bigger groups of 4-10 people. The garden could use some attention, so I’m taking off one star.
