Best Western Hotel Danderyd

Danderyd was quiet and restful, while still being close enough to Stockholm to get there easily. At Best Western Hotel Danderyd, I found the rooms stylish, clean, and comfortable, with a cozy bed and good quality toiletries. The staff were so welcoming and helpful that I felt at home. It’s a charming boutique hotel with modern comforts and a warm, personal feel. I had a fantastic stay.

We’ve stayed at Best Westerns in many places around the world, and this is one of the best. A major medical facility in the area recommended it to us, and they were right on the mark. The hotel is in a relaxing spot, with a short public transport train ride into “downtown” Stockholm. Everyone was pleasant, helpful, and very capable, from the managers to housekeeping. I hope we get back there someday.

I stayed for two days, from February 23, 2025, to February 25, 2025. The room was great, and reception and room service were excellent, friendly, and competent. But breakfast on my last day ended badly. I’d asked reception if I could eat in my room, which I did, then brought the dishes back to the kitchen. The kitchen staff member cursed loudly as I came in and spoke vulgarly to me. His look seemed angry to me. It was embarrassing for both me and the kind receptionist, who noticed and apologized on the kitchen staff’s behalf. The kitchen staff member didn’t apologize. Edit: The Owner wrote my Feedback is fake, how do you explain this!! I posted my Booking.com from my email!

The breakfast was delicious, and the room was spotless. Housekeeping had it so perfect each time they came through that I almost felt bad touching anything. We stayed a few nights and had a great time. The gentlemen at reception really made us feel welcome with their smiles, positive attitude, care, and polite, effective communication. I fully recommend this cosy piece of heaven!
