Really pretty surroundings, and the service was good!

The menu was a real highlight. Margaretha put together seasonal dishes with local flavors, took our input into account, and handled the different allergies in our family without us having to worry. I’m the bride and have celiac disease, and some relatives can’t have milk protein or nuts. The wine also matched each course beautifully. We had 16 adults and 8 children with us. There was plenty of energy from the younger ones, but everyone was treated so kindly. When a few of the little ones got hungry near the end, Margaretha even made them some delicious sandwiches. We’d only been engaged since May and were getting married in October that same year, so we were very new to planning when we first got in touch with Margaretha. She helped us sort through our ideas, gave us wedding-planning tips, and made the whole process feel easier. The beautiful venue and unbeatable surroundings added so much to the day, and her help was a big part of why the experience was so special. Getting married at Fredriksons Vilt, Vin och Pensionat was the most beautiful experience we’ve ever had. We highly recommend it as the place for an unforgettable wedding.

We got married here, and couldn’t have imagined a more magical setting. It’s private, quiet and peaceful, tucked away in beautiful Vallebygden. Margaretha, who runs the guesthouse, is one of the sweetest people I’ve met. Her personality really adds to the place, and you can see how much it means to her in the delicious food she cooks with local ingredients, including things she grows in her own garden. A real hidden gem. I’d recommend Fredrikssons Pensionat Sjöbacka for a simple overnight stay, dinner with friends, or renting the whole place for a celebration. We’ll definitely be back ❤️

We picked Fredriksons Pensionat because we were visiting Varnhem, it’s just minutes away, and the good ratings made it an easy choice. The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the house sits in lovely scenic surroundings. The food was fantastic, and the wine was good too. Having stayed there, I’d recommend it for the stay itself. Fredriksons pensionat is an experience on its own, and a great place to unwind and enjoy yourself.
