Stopover Falkenberg

The staff were incredibly kind and understanding when I came downstairs tired and disheveled at 11 pm after two hours of trying to sleep, and a bit grumpy. I had to change rooms because the highway-facing rooms are terribly poorly soundproofed. Ask for one at the back, it was almost silent there. For work trips by car, the location near the E6 is convenient, with a big car park and plenty of charging points. I knew it was a budget stay and that breakfast cost extra, but it doesn't open until 7, too late for those of us who need to eat earlier. It was also disproportionately expensive, almost 80 SEK for a mini sandwich, some yogurt, and coffee in a paper cup. There's no TV, and no table or similar for working on a computer in the room. The Wi-Fi, though, was a big plus: fast and stable.

The rooms are lovely, everything's new, and the cafeteria service was good. There are plenty of fast chargers for Tesla and Ionity, though I missed having a 22 kW charger where you could leave the car overnight and charge to 100%. I also wished our room had a TV and an extra pillow, preferably a hotel pillow. It's in the middle of nowhere, but handy when travelling north or south on the E6. Ullared is a little over 30 minutes away.

A brand new hotel, with a great room and a comfortable bed. It's very affordable, and there's a gym. No TV, but you don't really need one if you've got a phone or computer with you.
