Even on my own, I found the breakfast table generously laid out. The rooms have a genuine rustic feel, and the old buildings seem full of history. The owners were warm and ready to help, and there’s a little kitchen guests can use. If I’m back in Sweden and nearby, I’d stay here again.
The family has owned the place since the 1700s, and the owner has some entertaining stories about his ancestors. It’s an inexpensive stay with a good breakfast and lovely surroundings. The building is a little worn, but everything was clean and neat. Four stars for its character and historical appeal.
A grand, peaceful building, good rooms, and really welcoming hosts. We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend it.
A beautiful place with a character all its own, and a wonderful host.
The house felt cozy, the setting was beautiful, and the service was lovely. My partner and I were very happy with our stay. We’d definitely come back if we’re passing through Gnesta again.
