Surflogiet Gotland - Glamping

We loved the breakfast box arriving at our tent each morning, and the yoga, breathwork session and massages were all excellent. The team were so friendly and helpful. We camped for two nights, and our tent was clean, roomy and comfortable. Such a lovely stay.

The atmosphere is lovely, but the service and food have gone downhill. For these prices, the portions are tiny. I needed three servings at about 160 SEK each to feel full. The menu doesn't list ingredients and tells people with allergies to ask staff, but the staff didn't know what was in the dishes. Even after we checked, we were served the wrong thing. I’m glad to support vegan sausages and other products grown organically on Gotland, but I also need to know a dish is vegan. I was given parmesan, which isn't even vegetarian. It used to be much better value, with two complete vegan meals including a side, and staff who seemed more committed. I hope things improve next year.

I wouldn't recommend it. On my second visit, I only wanted a beer, but the bar staff weren't very friendly and the beer had run out. The first time was in midsummer, when most of the menu wasn't available, so our group all ended up ordering burgers. It's popular, but I don't really understand why.

The view and the live performance by Mack Johansson made for one of my best summer evenings so far. The weather was great too, with sand between my toes and sun on my face. Burgers, sweet potato fries and halloumi fries were great. Food: 3.5. Service: 2.5, the young staff did their best but things felt a little disorganized. Atmosphere: 4.5.
