Quality Hotel The Weaver

I didn't feel safe during my stay and had to insist on changing rooms. When I brought up what had happened, Isabella at reception was rude and dismissive. The hotel had told me on arrival that nobody would enter the room for cleaning unless asked. But when I returned, things had been moved, the towels replaced, and a random card that wasn't from this hotel was in the card slot. At first, I was told nobody had gone in. Days later, the manager emailed to say maintenance had entered to fix the shower drainage, though I had never reported a problem and nobody had told me they were coming. It was very uncomfortable and poorly handled, especially for a hotel used by business travellers. I'll recommend that my company stop booking it for staff safety.

The breakfast had lots of tasty options, and the staff were friendly. My room was spacious, felt new, and was super clean. I had a fantastic, really enjoyable stay.

The hotel was crowded, with people everywhere in the lobby and a queue at reception most of the time. It isn't right in the city centre, and there aren't many restaurants nearby. They also wouldn't give us a little extra time to check out, which I didn't like. The room was quite okay and the shower was very good, though breakfast was mediocre. All in all, it was okay. I've stayed in both worse and better hotels.

Breakfast was spacious and nice, with plenty of food to choose from. The rooms are soundproof, and the view was fine from the lower floors too. I imagine it could be amazing from one of the higher rooms. Paid parking is available behind the hotel, and the rooms have the necessary furniture. The WiFi was frustratingly slow, even sending WhatsApp text messages took a while. The cleaning staff were really kind, as were some people at check-in, but the staff overall lacked enthusiasm and a welcoming feel.
