Spoton Hostel & Sportsbar

Check which part your booking is for: the Hostel room doesn’t include meals. We stayed for two weeks, and the hostel kitchen was clean about half the time. There was late night noise only once. The staff I spoke with face to face were very helpful. Reception doesn’t open until :30am, but after that it was good.

I slept well and enjoyed my stay. The staff were nice and helpful, and the rooms were perfectly acceptable, though not luxurious or spotless. The bar downstairs can make things a bit noisy sometimes, but I didn’t mind. A double room was about 80€ for a good night’s stay. Parking costs extra, roughly 5€ for 10 hours. I’d recommend it.

It’s within walking distance of Gothia Towers, and the other facilities were good. The room was smaller than we expected, though, and the kitchen only had a microwave, which was a bit disappointing. The kitchen setup wasn’t adequate, and there was no locker or storage space in the room.

We had a private bathroom in our room, and the shared bathrooms were clean too. The hostel and our room were nice and clean, with the room somewhere between small and large. The communal kitchen was disappointing: it had fridges and cupboards for food, plus a few microwaves, but no stove or oven, which limits what you can cook.
