The room I had was only a few metres from the road and a parking area for trucks. Traffic started around 4 a.m., so it was noisy. When I went to check out, the staff seemed to be on a break and I was told to wait 20 minutes to pay. I mentioned the noise, and a man said it was my fault for not asking for a quiet room. The way staff park also makes it unpleasant for customers who are leaving. I won’t be back. 👎

We stayed one night in August and were pleasantly surprised. From the outside it looks like a dull old box, opposite the large steel mill, but inside the rooms were nice, well decorated, clean and fresh, and reception was pleasant. It was calm and quiet despite the many younger guests. In one room with a wider bed, pipes stopped it from being pushed against the wall, which made sitting in bed a little awkward. No big deal, though.

The outside doesn’t give much away, but this place is really lovely. The rooms, toilets, shower and kitchen were all clean, and the bed was comfortable for my back, which isn’t always the case. The staff were especially welcoming and nice. If I come back to Knuthöjdsmossen, I know where I’ll stay.
