Grand Halmstad, WorldHotels Crafted

We arrived today and got such an awesome welcome. Victor looked after us and made us feel really welcome. The room is absolutely superb, and breakfast is excellent. There are tea, coffee, and treats available all day, plus wonderful spaces to relax. Highly recommend.

The train station is across the road, which might bother light sleepers. We were there on a rather hot day, and the room got too warm at night. It has ventilation but no air conditioning. The TV was small and not great quality, too. The location is relatively central, the hotel is beautiful, and the rooms were clean with enough space. I only had breakfast, which was what you'd expect at a good Swedish hotel, no complaints there. Service was very good overall.

For this price range, this is honestly one of the best hotels in Halmstad, and probably in Sweden. The location is top notch, and so are the customer service and food. My room was pretty big. I wondered how they could offer it so cheaply when the adjacent hotel charged almost the same for old, rusty service. My colleagues and I had a really nice stay. I'd recommend this hotel and stay here again when I visit Halmstad.

I've stayed here regularly over the past few years, and it's been a really nice stay every time. The upgraded rooms are the best if you've reached the level in the loyalty program that lets you get upgraded. Breakfast is really good, with lots of options. The partnership gym is also very good, much better than a regular hotel gym. The TVs sometimes don't work with casting from your own devices, but it's a minor issue. There's some noise from cars and trains if you stay on the first floor facing the train station, though it's manageable.
