The room was great and the service was perfect. Lunch was delicious, but breakfast was the real standout, all made there at the farm. That pastrami was so good!

A simple place with plenty for families to do. They serve locally made food at breakfast and sell it in their own stores.

The beer tasting in the cellar was really enjoyable, and the restaurant staff were nice. The restaurant food was so-so, though. Considering where you are, I expected better meat. Everything’s quite expensive. The rooms are small and bare, and there’s little coziness. The whole place is very worn and needs renovation.

The farm is open enough to wander around, which was nice when I couldn’t sleep. You can see the cows being milked, the ones waiting to calve, and the calves. I’ve visited several times, and it’s a nice place, though getting to the city by the nearest bus means a bit of a walk if you don’t drive. Cycling is good. We stayed overnight, had dinner, and saw the May bonfire and the cows being let out. We also toured the farm and learned about its products and how it runs. It’s more than a dairy farm. The front shop has mostly local goods, some from the farm and many from smaller producers. The owners were lovely to talk to. We both really enjoyed dinner and would happily have had all three courses again. Breakfast was definitely acceptable, and it was nice to have some farm products. The rooms are very simple, but they do the job, and the bathroom is quite dull. It’s a farm hotel, so you can’t really compare it with a standard city hotel. The AC worked very well for us, but it was still a little hard to get the temperature comfortable, and the air felt humid.
