We enjoyed staying at this beautiful, comfortable and clean "Wärdshuset". The rooms are really cute, the restaurant is great, and the hosts were very helpful. A lovely traditional Swedish guest house stay, highly recommended ;)

The buffet had a tasty selection. I tried salad and appetizers, fish and meat, and enjoyed everything. The local wine from owners Vittsjö Vingård was good too, and we finished with grappa and limoncello sweets. We had a lovely dinner in a cosy restaurant with a great atmosphere and nice hosts. Recommend giving it a try!

The host kindly left snacks and drinks for free, which the kids really appreciated. We felt very much at home in the clean, comfortable rooms. Great place to stay.

Furuliden is a charming little family run hotel, and a lovely stop on the way north. The area is beautiful, and we loved the interior. Dogs are very welcome. Our room was simple but had what we needed, with plenty of space for us and Toni the Pointer. It was spotless and we slept excellently. I gave the room four stars because it isn't fair to compare it with the Savoy or other large international places, though that doesn't mean you'll miss anything. Amanda and her team looked after the guests wonderfully. We had a great dinner and drinks in an atmosphere that brought back the good old days. If that's what you like, this is the place. The owners were so friendly and helped us out at very short notice, going above and beyond. The whole house is cosy and nicely furnished, everything was clean, and breakfast was good. Tack!
