Golden Hostel

I usually choose apartments or houses, so this was a last-minute change for me. I stayed two nights and was really glad I found this place. The hosts are wonderful, and I enjoyed their company even more than the stay. The atmosphere felt warm, and my room was clean. There’s a shared kitchenette with a stove, microwave, and a tea and coffee corner, plus a fridge in the room. The place felt secure, with no outsiders allowed in. Getting to the entrance can be a little tricky since it’s in the middle of a large center. If you have lots of bags, ask the host ahead of time about the easiest way in. Also, some rooms facing the center have windows that don’t open, so check with the host about which room to book if that matters to you.

The owner met me by the parking lot in front of the hostel, showed me the way around, and explained the rules. He also helped with parking, since the app was in Swedish. I stayed one night at the end of January while travelling from the south to the north of Sweden. The place was great and clean, and I’ve already booked again for the end of the month. I’d recommend it to anyone. Regards.

The room was good and clean, and everything else was okay. Just be aware that the toilets and showers are shared and aren’t in the room. The owner doesn’t speak much English, and they weren’t flexible about late checkout.

Really nice place to stay, and the customer service was amazing. I’ll come again.
