The breakfast was really great, with plenty of choices from the usual basics to omelettes and American pancakes with maple syrup. The spa area was clean and very well maintained, and the staff were nice and helpful. We booked a compact room, and it really is compact, but it worked well. It was fresh and very clean, with good AC and a comfortable bed. A great little hotel for a relaxing weekend if you don’t mind being 30 minutes from Stockholm city.

My first day at Welcome Hotel in Stockholm was a very disappointing one. I found hair on dirty bed sheets and told reception right away, asking them to change them. When I got back from work, the room hadn’t been cleaned and the sheets were still there. I reported it again and went out for a couple of hours, but nothing had changed when I returned. I had to complain a third time, and then I was told the housekeeper had already left for the day. That was extremely frustrating and showed a real lack of attention and professionalism. Cleanliness is a basic expectation at a hotel, and this one failed badly. The restaurant was the only good part of my stay: its staff were professional, friendly, and gave good service. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or stay here again.

The rooms are cozy but quite small, and the place has a family-run feel. It’s in a good spot in Barkarby, with an easy walk to the station. Definitely recommend.

There’s a big parking area close to the station, so you don’t need to worry about finding a space. Everything was clean and the service was great. The room was a little small, but fine if you’re not planning a long stay.

The staff were nice, though customer service could be better. I was there for a conference, and nobody was keeping the coffee cups tidy or freshening up the area around the coffee and sandwiches.
