Frimurarehotellet, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

It feels warm and homely here, and the breakfast has a great range of choices. The central station is just a stone's throw away, with shops, restaurants, Kalmar Castle, and the Arts Museum nearby, so it's easy to enjoy Kalmar's culture. I'd happily recommend it for a visit and am already looking forward to coming back myself! 😊

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the location is hard to beat: right on the main square, with the harbor, castle, train station, and old gate all within walking distance. The bar has a great selection, and the restaurant menu is broad, with local and international dishes. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty to choose from. I was only here for one night, but the hotel's heritage made me expect something out of the ordinary, and it delivered. The building is amazing, with an interior that mixes classic style and quirky details. I will definitely come back :-) Some parts of the hotel are a little worn, and the internet was slow at times.

We had a very quiet room, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. The bar served good drinks, too. It got a bit hot in the room in the middle of the night, though the weather has been unusually warm. Great location, and I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel has cool decorations and a really nice breakfast. It's centrally located, with shops just outside and the station about a five-minute walk away. We stayed for one day with a friend, and the staff were very nice. We arrived too early to check in and left later than check-out, but they kindly kept our luggage both times. Nothing to complain about.
